More Than Spores isn’t just a business, it’s a mission.  I believe with every fiber of my being that psychedelics have the power to help heal not just individuals, but our culture as a whole.  We’re living in a time of deep disconnect.  Anxiety, depression, isolation, and division are at an all-time high.  We are in a mental health crisis of epic proportions.  Did you know that suicide is now the second leading cause of death among children and adolescents aged 10–14.  And it isn’t just kids.  Veterans are returning home with invisible wounds.  PTSD, trauma, and a broken system that too often fails them.  Survivors of abuse, people battling addiction, those burdened by grief or lost in the fog of depression and too often forgotten or, even worse, ignored.

For far too long, we’ve been told the solution is another pill.  Another prescription.  Another quick fix.  A temporary bandage for a much deeper wound.  But I believe there’s a better way.

Psychedelics remind us of something modern medicine often forgets; healing isn’t just about numbing pain or managing symptoms.  It’s about reconnecting with our inner self and remembering that we are in control of our own destiny, our emotions, and our experience of reality.  In a world dominated by social media and algorithms that profit from our distraction, it’s easy to forget who we are beneath the scroll.  Psychedelics invite us to step away from the constant feed of curated content and misinformation and instead drop in to the present moment.  To quiet the noise.  To remember that we are not broken or in need of fixing.  The path back to wholeness isn’t found online but found within.

These medicines don’t suppress who we are, they reveal us to ourselves.  They create space to feel, to reflect, to question, and to grow.  They dissolve the walls we build around our hearts, soften the edges of old wounds, and offer clarity where confusion lived, and peace where there was restlessness.  And yet despite their ancient history and profound potential these natural tools remain criminalized in many parts of the world.  Misunderstood.  Feared.  Locked away by systems that profit from our disconnection.

But the tide is turning.  Curiosity is growing, research is expanding, and the science is catching up to what many have known for centuries.  That these are not just party drugs.  They are medicines with the potential to treat some of the most difficult and deeply rooted mental health challenges of our time.

This is why I do what I do.  To honor this medicine, to challenge stigma, and to help others rediscover the wisdom and healing that lies dormant within them.  Within you.  Psychedelics aren’t a magic bullet, and they won’t do the work for us, but they can help light the way.  They remind us of what really matters: compassion, awareness, and love.  Grow your medicine.  Grow your mind.  It all starts here.
